Using discounts

The Silom POS system offers two types of discounts: item-specific discounts and bill-total discounts. Stores can choose to apply either method or use both in a single bill, depending on their needs. Discounts can be set up by following the steps and methods outlined below.

Steps for applying item-specific discounts :

Go to the sales screen and select the product you wish to process.
Then, choose the item you want to discount by selecting it from the list of products on the left side. Tap on the product menu, then select Discount. The store can apply the discount as either a specific amount or a percentage, as desired.

Steps to use the discount at the end of the bill :

Go to the sales screen and select the products you want to process.
Then select the Bill Discount option from the top menu. The store can apply the discount as either a fixed amount, a percentage, or by scanning a discount barcode/QR code.
