Set up Multiple payment support
SilomPOS supports split payments, allowing customers to use multiple payment methods in a single transaction. For example, they can pay with a combination of cash and QR code, credit card and bank transfer, or even more than two methods.
Setup Steps :
- Open the Silom POS application and select the Menu tab.
- Go to Settings and choose Payment.
- Toggle the switch for Multiple Payment Support to enable the use of various payment methods within a single receipt.
Steps for Multiple Payments on POS :
- Process the Sale: Record the items the customer is purchasing as usual.
- Press the "Pay" Button: Once all items are recorded, press the "Pay" button
- Select the First Payment Method: The system will display the available payment methods. Choose the first payment method the customer wants to use, such as "Cash"
- Enter the Amount: Input the amount the customer is paying with the first payment method. For example, the customer pays 200 Baht in cash out of a total of 500 Baht
- Select the Second Payment Method: The system will display the remaining balance. Choose the second payment method, such as "QR Code."
- Complete the Transaction with the Selected Method: Have the customer scan the QR Code to pay the remaining amount.
- Please repeat as needed: If the customer wants to use additional payment methods, such as a credit card, repeat steps 5-6 until the remaining balance is zero.
- Finalize the Payment: Once the customer has fully paid, the system will automatically print the receipt (if configured to do so).
- Verify the amount received from the customer for each payment method before confirming.
- If a partial payment needs to be canceled, the entire bill must be voided, and a new bill created.
