How to connect the system for stores that only have Grab

Integrate Silom POS with Grab and import product data directly into the POS system. This is the most convenient method for new customers who have not yet added menus to Silom POS.

All imported products from Grab are classified as BOM-type items, which can be linked to recipes for automated stock deduction.

How to Integrate Silom POS with Grab and Import Product Data into the POS System :

Check Store Opening and Closing Hours: Ensure that your opening time is earlier than your closing time (e.g., Open: 10:00 AM, Close: 11:00 PM). After the integration is complete, you can adjust your store hours as needed.
Open the Silom POS application, then navigate to the Order Hub menu.
Click the "Connect Grab" button.
Log in with Your GrabMerchant Account: Click "Log in" and enter your GrabMerchant account's email and password. Please note that only a Manager email can be used to log in.

If you have not yet signed up for the GrabMerchant app, please complete the registration process through the Grab app or website before proceeding with the next steps.

After successfully logging in, choose to link your store with the Silom POS system.
Click "Export Menu" to import product data from Grab into the system.
Proceed with Data Integration : After the Export Menu process is complete, click "Proceed to Integration" to begin the integration process. This may take approximately 30 minutes. Once the integration is successful, the POS system will not immediately receive orders from Grab, as we recommend that you review and update product details before enabling. However, during this period, your store can still receive orders through the GrabMerchant app as usual. After verifying and updating your product information, you can enable order acceptance through the Order Hub menu.

Please do not switch or leave this page during the data integration process to prevent potential errors and ensure that the data is synced accurately and completely.

Review and Update BOM-Type Products:
Products exported from GrabFood will be categorized as BOM-type items without linked ingredient recipes. To enable stock deduction based on ingredients, you must assign the appropriate components to each product before proceeding.
Set Store Opening and Closing Hours in Grab: After updating BOM-type products, go to the Order Hub menu and set your store's opening and closing hours under the Delivery ON/OFF section.
Upload Menu Data to Grab: Once you’ve finished editing, go to the "Delivery menu" in the Order Hub and click “Upload Grab Menu”.
