How to unlock SilomPOS when logged in on multiple devices simultaneously
SilomPOS allows login on only one device per user account at a time to prevent data conflicts. If you accidentally log in on multiple devices, the system will display a "This device is locked" message on the additional devices, and they will be unusable. Here's how to unlock:
1. Unlock via the SilomPOS BackOffice Website:
Step 1: Open a web browser and go to the BackOffice website: dashboard.silompos.app
Step 2: Log in using your store's email and password.
Step 3: Navigate to "Settings" > "Admin Tools."
Step 4: Click the "Unlock Login Device" button. The system will display a list of currently logged-in devices; select the device you want to unlock.
Step 5: Click "Confirm Unlock." The selected device will be forced to log out, and you can then use the account to log in on another device.
Important Notes:
After unlocking, press the "Sync" button in the SilomPOS app on the device you intend to use. This ensures all data is up-to-date.
To avoid data discrepancies and other potential problems, refrain from logging in to the same SilomPOS account on multiple devices at the same time.
