# Set up low-stock alert notifications

Low-stock alert notifications can be set up on the POS device by following the simple steps below :

1. Go to the POS device, select the **Menu** tab, then choose the **Inventory** menu.
2. Select the product you want to set up an alert for, then swipe the product from right to left.
3. Tap the **Settings** button.
4. Enter the low stock quantity. When the product quantity falls below this level, the system will display a **Low Stock** warning in yellow within the Inventory menu.
