# Create product Serial type

### Steps to create a serial product (Serial) :

1. Click **Add Product Group**, enter the name, and enable the product group.
2. The Sales menu will have a **+ Add Product** button to create a new product. Alternatively, the store can add products from the **Products** menu.
3. When you click **Add Product**, a pop-up will appear prompting the store to fill in details such as product name, price, product group, and unit of the product.
4. Then, select the product type as **Serial Product**.

5. If the store wants to add product serial numbers, click on **Serial Number**, then enter the number in the designated field and press **Add** to save the serial number.
6. Once the product serial numbers are entered, return to the product details page to verify the accuracy of the product information. Then, click **Save** to confirm.
